Bill's Custom 1000 Cruiser*

Bill Franzen bought a 900 cc junker with a cracked block from a neighbor as a parts bike for his own 900.  Rethinking its intended purpose, Bill took a trip to the salvage yard and picked up a 1000 cc engine -- the lowly parts bike was on its way to becoming this Custom Cruiser.  * Be sure to see Bill's 2000 cc Millennium Cruiser featured elsewhere on this page!

Bill's CB 900 Custom

I asked Bill to help me move, and somewhere between loading the furniture on the truck and unloading Bill disappeared.  As the rest of the crew was lugging the last of the furniture out of the truck, Bill pulled up on this 900, which he had stopped and bought along the way.  Thanks for the help, Bill!

2000 cc's equals the Millennium Cruiser

Have you ever taken 12 aspirin at once? Try balancing eight carbs and you will.  Frame fabrication required welding two frames together.  The drive train is proprietary.  There are still some problems to be overcome, such as the long reach to the handlebars, but this bike commands a lot of attention wherever Bill takes it.  Did I mention Bill is a Graphic Designer?

Your name doesn't have to be Franzen, but it helps!
